In Quebec, if you're applying for immigration, the Quebec Ministry for Immigration, Francisation, and Integration (MIFI) needs to see that you know French. They accept a test called the Test d'Évaluation de Français pour le Québec (TEFAQ). Also, if you're applying for Canadian citizenship, you can use the same test, TEFAQ, which is recognized by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
As the main applicant, you need at least an intermediate level (level 7) of French to earn points. For your spouse, if their French is tested, they need a minimum level of 4.
You'll get your results digitally. After your exam is graded by the examination centre, expect an email in 2 weeks. This email will have a link for you to access your results online.
